Her friend's uncle apparently had stomach cancer many years ago and has been advised to consume the leaves of this tree and he survived until today.

Never heard of this tree nor its leaves, I started googling about it. I thought, like any naturally healing herb, if it has done mankind any good, people will usually talk or blog about it. Surely some kind souls would know where to find it. I couldn't find any blog or website in English that I could get much information on the benefits of consuming the leaves after a few clicks here and there. So I tried googling in Chinese.

There were a few links that briefly mention about the tree, its nature and its habitat. Other links were broken. This link says that this plant may be consumed as a form of laxative, it treats cancer, relieves constipation, heals tumors, treats diseases of the nervous system and the circulatory system. However it doesn't say which part of the plant should be consumed although it does say to take 3-9g.

Hope through this blog some kind hearted soul who might have information on this apparently healing plant would come forward. My uncle is suffering from 4th stage stomach cancer, I really hope to be able to help him.

Sabah Snake Grass Heals Cancer and Many Other Diseases

My husband's friend who is also our insurance agent dropped by last week. We offered him some nice Autumn Festival dumplings and fresh fruit juice. He shared this wonderful " secret" with us.Sabah Snake Grass heals cancer and many other types of diseases.

Well, as a newbie in the kitchen and the SAHM world, it is not surprising that I haven't heard of this herb. In my other post I have mentioned that my uncle is suffering from 4th stage stomach cancer and that I really hope that we could help him. So my quest on finding this herb started the same day.

Thanks to Google and the blogging community, I found this kind hearted soul by the name if Gan Chin Seng that blogged about this herb. Many people have since contacted him to get the leaves of the plant for direct consumption and stems for propagation. From the comments left by other readers I gather many people are also looking, some have relatives or family members who are ill, and some are from overseas.

I thought, since I have some space in my garden, why not join hands with these wonderful souls and plant this miraculous herb to help others. From some blogs I gathered, depending on the stage of the illness, some patients are required to consume up to 100 leaves a day. The plants will never catch up with their needs even if they plant it themselves.

In one of the forums or blog, a man commented that he has Sabah Snake Grass so I emailed him in hope to get some stems. When I spoke to him on the phone, he said he'll charge me RM100 for a stem and he said that this herb is now a national secret, and for all he knows, people from all around the world are looking for it and he's short on supply. Since he's based far from me, I continued my search.

After I left a comment on Gan's blog, 2 kind hearted men contacted me to offer me some stems. They are currently propagating new shoots, my first appointment to pick up this wonderful herb's stem will be this coming Saturday. I'm so looking forward to it. Let's hope I won't be charged for it, as I don't plan to charge when I offer others in the future.
